Introduction

1394R3B is a standard FireWire (IEEE1394) repeater, extending your signal an additional 4.5 meters and adding one more FireWire (IEEE 1394) port. It's easy to setup and there is no configuration necessary, like all IEEE1394 compliant hardware.

  • Ultra low-power mode which is less than 150 uA when no ports are active
  • Fully 1394a compliant including extended TPbias mode to accommodate Sony DV Camcorder hot-plug connectivity
