Introduction

FWB2GOF01-LC is a FireWire 800 to GOF repeater featuring Texas Instrument's TSB81BA3 and Fiber Optical
Transceiver.

The GOF port is Gigabit Ethernet 850nm VCSEL (Multi-Mode) Transceiver with LC-Duplex Connector.

Utilizing an IEEE1394 PHY and optical transceiver, the FWB2GOF01-LC is capable of sending IEEE1394 signals across a LC/LC optical fiber cable up to 500 meters in length!

FWB2GOF01 can also be used as a standard IEEE1394b repeater, extending your signal an additional 4.5 meters. It's easy to setup and there is no configuration necessary, like all IEEE1394 compliant hardware.
